An overwhelming sense of loss and despair, people search for faces in shattered reflection.

In the scattering of shards, they glanced at the transient nature of all things.

Glass, once delicate, once fragile, turned to cruelty.

It took away the light it once let in to a city now descended to darkness. 

The weight of silence is too heavy to bear.

There is still a light to be found, a spirit to rise again.
