Rawán El Laden is a Venezuelan-born artist of Lebanese descent, born and raised on Margarita
Island, Venezuela. Her multicultural background and island upbringing deeply influence her
artistic vision, blending Caribbean light and natural textures with Middle Eastern symbolism and
sensibility.
Her work explores abstract expressionism through mixed media techniques, combining acrylic,
oil, collage, and natural materials such as sand and professional paste. Inspired by the sea, sky,
and organic forms of nature, her paintings express an authentic emotional language that bridges
inner experience and natural beauty.
She has continued to develop her artistic practice in Spain, creating new series centered on
emotion, spirituality, and the natural world.
In 2025, she founded her own educational project, “Arte para Enseñarte” (“Art to Teach You”),
offering creative art workshops for children and Adults in Alicante, Spain. The program
encourages free artistic expression, imagination intuition , and emotional growth through
painting and mixed media exploration.Now relocating to Beirut, Lebanon, Rawán continues her artistic journey presenting and
continuing her Series: Cojo Aire- ( I take a Breath ) by reconnecting with her Lebanese heritage
and expanding her practice through new collaborations, exhibitions, and cultural exchanges.
