Since a young age, Jowelle has been passionate about painting, earning early recognition by winning the Fabriano prize twice at a national level in Lebanon.

Today, her Meine Katze series — meaning my (naughty) cat in German and inspired by her stay in Bavaria — brings a fresh voice to contemporary art.

For her, art is about emotions: not always heavy, but often light, witty, and sarcastic.
