Gregor Ishkhanian is a Lebanese Armenian metal sculptor, born in Beirut, Lebanon, into a family that had a machine shop full of leftover materials. He once said, “I was born here, so I have something to do here in this shop,” and started creating with every leftover piece he found. His inspirations came from his memories and emotions—his inner power, will, hope, as well as his disappointments and regrets. His work was all about expression.
