Collection: Georges Madi

My name is George Madi. I was born in Lebanon on March 2, 1991.
I am a Lebanese artist and interior designer.

My passion for art started in childhood through drawing, colours, and imagination.

My background in interior design and my personal experiences have shaped my artistic vision, allowing me to combine emotions, stories, fantasy, and creativity through my paintings.

The Concept:

Welcome to my paintings featuring works that explore human psychology, self-love, and the phenomenon of mirror selfies as a means of showoff.

The paintings delve into the complex emotions and thoughts that arise when we take a photo of ourselves in a mirror. Selfies have become a ubiquitous part of our culture, but what do they really say about us and our relationship with ourselves?

Through the use of color, composition, and subject matter, these paintings offer unique perspectives on the act of taking a selfie. Some works examine the sense of empowerment that comes with capturing a moment of self-love and acceptance, while others critique the ways in which mirror selfies can be used to show off or mask insecurities.

The art also invites reflection on the role of social media and the internet in shaping our self-image and sense of self-worth. As we scroll through carefully curated feeds and compare ourselves to others, it can be easy to lose sight of our own uniqueness and value. These paintings encourage us to step back and consider the ways in which we present ourselves to the world, and the messages we send about who we are and what we value.

So come and immerse yourself in these thought-provoking works of art, and explore the fascinating intersection of human psychology, self-love, and showoff culture through the lens of the mirror selfie.
