Ramzi Abou Fadel is a Lebanese architect and the founder of the design brand "Yook." He specializes in traditional Lebanese houses and has created unique designs inspired by Beirut's rich architectural heritage.
Yook is known for producing contemporary and sustainable designs, ensuring that everything is made in Lebanon. A notable project by Ramzi includes candlelit metallic traditional house photophores, a triple arches tableware collection, and Christmas ornaments reflecting the red-roofed houses, all created to celebrate Beirut's heritage while supporting local artisans and social causes.
Ramzi's work also contributes to charitable initiatives, such as the Beirut Heritage Initiative, which aims to restore historic buildings damaged by the 2020 Beirut explosion, as well as Beit el Baraka, the Sursock Museum, and many other prominent projects.
